ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Isadora (Izzy) Pinzer, I am a 5th year Interior Architecture student at Endicott College in Beverly, MA. I will be graduating in May 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture. I am also a student at the Boston Architectural College, working to obtain a certificate in Digital Design & Visualization by May 2024. I am originally from North Andover, MA where I was very involved in the Music program as part of the Treble Choir and Concert Choir. I also love to spend time with my dog Bean and loved spending time with his brother Avi, who was my first dog.

At Endicott, I enjoy spending time in the studio which is a great opportunity to work on both academic projects, but also my own personal design initiatives. When I’m not in the studio, you can find me with friends enjoying the beautiful scenery along the North Shore coastline. I am also part of the music community at Endicott and joined the Percussion ensemble my freshman year which allows me the opportunity to express my creative musical talents. I was the Vice President of the Ensemble from Fall 2020 to Spring of 2023, and will b the President for my final year. I also spend time in the kitchen being creative with my passion for baking.

In the Fall of 2021, I had the opportunity to spend my Fall Junior year abroad in Copenhagen with DIS (Danish Institute for Study Abroad). The 4 months in Copenhagen were truly amazing from an educational and personal perspective. I not only fell in love with Copenhagen and other European cities I visited, but became inspired by the Scandinavian design. Since returning, I have brought into my design work both the Scandinavian design along with other European influences.

One of my favorite aspects of the design process is rendering. I truly enjoy working in Enscape putting my ideas into a 3D space with SketchUp or Revit.  I find using Enscape and Photoshop wonderful tools to make my designs feel as real as possible. I will also be learning other programs such as V-Ray, 3D Studio Max and Rhino through the certificate program at the Boston Architectural College.
